Christy, Sam is still not right, I'm afraid. After 1½ days back at work, she was ill again. She has her computer at home and is working here the rest of the week. She's asleep at the moment, resting it off.

I'd do both, friend first then self second. Then decide.
Then it's personal choice, but informed by the history of objective knowledge.
