Awww, Nicky was one lucky rat.

Sweet post. It reminds me of the day we found Mrs. Brown stiff and cold and what a shock it was. We should have known, it had been days since she had packed her chubby cheeks or nibbled on her special hamster chee-tos. But, we had just assumed she would live with us for years on end.

Awww, Mia...
So sorry to hear about that. Losing an animal is always traumatic, but be comfortedthat Nicky knew you loved him and would do anything for him.
They don't have that long a life span, anyway -- you probably gave him more time -- good time -- than he would have otherwise had.

I'm so sorry MiaElla...as always when I hear of someone losing a pet I cry
along with the owners. This was a beautiful tribute to Nicky and I hope you get comfort from knowing that you gave him a wonderful, loving and happy home for three years. Hugs and kisses to you and bless little Nicky.
