You mean we are not in the middle of a polar shift? I can't believe that it is the middle of July and here in Kansas City it is just wonderful today. A/C not even on, windows open and just a couple of fans oscillating. Not even any humidity to notice.

That's hot enough to fry bacon and eggs on the pavement.
I've always thought that was a silly saying why would anyone want to cook on a gritty pavement and who can eat greasy bacon and eggs in that heat. But if they offer me ten million I'll do quite a few things I wouldn't normally attempt.

food4thought - Oh, so that's where. That does sound quite unseasable for
that part of the country. Wild fires are dreadful, hope it doesn't happen. And I hope it cools down for you soon, too.

FoliageGold...
70 miles north of Spokane Washington (State), you can almost see the Canadian border from here. Needless to say, this is very unseasonal. All of the news focused on the storm blowing through since it is so dry and there is lightning. Our worst fears are lighting ignited wildfires of which we have a few so far.

Hey everybody...
A rainstorm just blew through, it cooled off at least 20 degrees in a half-hour. And, I am so naked!

There is a difference from the dry heat to the humidity and both uncomfortable. I like the fall and spring when the days are more moderate. Stay comfortable, try cold water to drink and soak in the cool bathtub water.
