rainydayinmay - Just realized I read this out of sequence somehow.
This was a very poignant read and you wrote it very well.  There's touches of genuine love in here between two very young people.  Fear in many ways seems to have prevailed and I still wonder just what was it made him act so irresponsibly?  As a girl, I was right there with you through all of this as I've had those mixed up emotions as well, still do at times.  I wonder if we ever really learn to deal with this sort of thing.  Part of me doesn't think so because the original wound is always there.  Oh, I've heard it said that over time these things fade, yes they do in some ways but they colour all other future upsets.  More please.

I have to go back to pick up the whole story but even coming in
the middle like this I sense a fantastic story ,wellwritten and honest.
