Re: Modern Age
I know we have been conditioned to think we need all this, but we could get along just fine snuggled in front of a warm fire reading or writing by candlelight.  More romance I think yes?

Re: Irish
I hear you, but we can do things quicker with a keyboard and that's what the world has come to, fast information, no one takes time to look and really see the world anymore.

Very true and good post...I often wonder if I still know how to write with a pen. It seems like forever since I have done anything without  the keyboard...

Modern Age
Hey..

Yeah..it's kinda scary .... i remembered that a month ago i went back to the nature. At night, I couldn't sleep because i can't text and there's no pc.

I cant do anything. However, I got used to it on the 3rd day. I realised that I live in the modern age now. How nice if I could get back to the nature again where life is so calm and relaxed!

Cheers

Excellent post - ever since watching "Hal," in "2001: A Space Odyssey," and later, the "Terminator" films, I've been very wary that we're creating technologies, when we don't know, for sure - what all the (dangerous) consequences might be!

I must be getting old.

I must be getting old.  I do remember candles, kerosene lamps and lanterns.  I wonder if I could still light them.  It has been eons since I tried too.  I do know that I love this post.
