Talion - I completely agree, there is no reasoning involved, only the

overwhelming desire to validate an unfounded prejudice.

There are attempts at logic to support this unsupportable position, which mostly end up being circular or disjointed. There are attempts at soliciting agreement from others, which is as you say; sad in that so many are willing to thoughtlessly agree. But by far the most astounding aspect of someone trying to "prove" the moronic premise that an "unbelief in God is immoral" has to be when they become proactive and demonstrate a complete lack of integrity in their efforts. I am completely baffled as to how an adult can do that.

I've tried to understand the whole "unbelief in God is immoral" line of reasoning, but I've failed miserably. It finally dawned on me it's because there's no reasoning involved. It's a complete fabrication. Falsehood. Fiction. It's no different than when some racist spews drivel about me and my kind because of race. It's incomprehensible. However, what's truly sad about the whole situation is the number of others who agree.
