That's right. I had a teacher who summed it up perfectly. "Freedom of speech doesn't mean a person can go into a crowded movie theater and yell 'fire'."

There is something to be said about the indivivual's freedom of speech,
Complete Balance. However, your freedom of speech only goes so far. You cannot incite riot. You cannot threaten the life of the president or other dignitaries (you can threaten your neighbor, though, unless he happens to live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC). You cannot knowingly talk about things that would jeopardize the national security of the United States. Everything else is fair game. People can sue all the hell they want but, unless you can prove detriment of some sort, your right to say what you want on paper or on your shirt will stand up in court (unless they cause a riot).
