We seem to be intent on protecting people
from their own stupidity. The end result will be a dumber society, as a whole, since the idiots who should have taken themselves out of the gene pool will be protected and propogated. Pass me a beer.

Funny stuff, food4thought, and how so very true. My favorite scare-the-
hell-outta-ya commercial on TV now is the one about meth labs. You know, the one where the guy is looking out his window at a hummingbird and suddenly gets blown back into his house? I'm so well conditioned by our disclaimer-saturated society that I was looking for a "No hummingbird or any other animal was harmed in the making of this commercial." Oh, yeah? What about that stuntman? Is he okay? Why don't they ever say that? "No stuntman or any other human was harmed in the making of this commercial. But the hummingbird died." PETA would have a field day.
You know, I like the sound of this comment. I think I'll post it. Anyway, good post.
