Two thoughts on the matter . . .

It's not so hard to realize once you let go of what others tell you- -

1.  You are ALREADY perfect in your nature.  The natural man is a perfect specimen of life as are all living (and non-living, for that matter) things.  It has been the IDEA perpetrated by retarded minds that humans are corrupt, imperfect beings.  How else can you impose the IDEA of "sin, shame and guilt" and the need for "salvation" through the sacrifice of life itself.

2. The course of evolution REQUIRES living things to be perverted, as applied to the NORM.  Change doesn't come about by following after the methods of others, but only when one thinks and acts in a manner that is NOT NORMAL.

3. Normal is an idea of group think, not individuality.  Perfection is NOT NORMAL.

Those who seek Perfection and try and stay within the bounds of culture and group think will never attain what they seek.  The foolishness of it all is that they already have what they want.

Peace,

FR

Flawed understanding of perfecion
Being perfect is something that humans will never be. Part of our humanity is to learn from wrongdoing and the consequences that come with it.

We are a trial and error species. We learn best from mistakes. We can't appreciate pleasure without first suffering.

When people read the scripture they are put off by the word 'perfection' but they don't realise or understand that it is used to describe a state that is very achievable and available to all of us. It's not about being a goody 2 shoes or an angel.

Think of it like this...If I said to you that with a little bit of work, say an hour a day for a year, i could teach you how to turn your car into something 100% faster, with better roadholding and fuel consumption. What if I was to say that with these changes, your car would be able to fly into the sky & space as well as go to the bottom of the sea. What if I told you that these modifcations were free of charge and that the only thing that you would have to put up with was a little harassment from the big automakers for the time you spent working on it.

What if I told you that for a bit of perserverance and familiarizing yourself with the new technology I was able to show you that this is what I meant by the word "perfect"

In other words showing you your car's full potential.

Would you not be interested in giving it a go knowing that it wasn't as difficult as previously  thought?

kooka_lives - in reality anyone who is suggesting they have the answers

within their beliefs and does not acknowledge our need to continually grow is only fooling themselves.

A quest for perfection? Puulllease, some folks should start with the basics first. They should try and get through a conversation without lying, or through a day without promoting beligerant religious propaganda . . . they can work on perfection later.

This Is Absolutely True
We should always be seeking knowledge, truth and revelation. It is thought that revelation can be recevied in our day as to ahw we should do and what lies ahead. Our spirits need to be in tune and we must continually find more questions that need to be answered.
