offy, we often go back to our abusive partners, because we believe them to change back to the person they were when we first met...they also wear us down so much that we feel worthless...like it's our fault....but, one day you wake up and finally get the courage to leave (well not all do) I did. but, he still controlled my life by knowing where I lived and what I did each day.....

It's just like you to make the living situation cleaner and brighter...I clean too much, but it does help with frustrations. I can only imagine what it was like for you and the children. I wonder why women go back to partners who abuse.
