Since ownership of a bible is ownership of truth, how can that be a burden.
I have several, but never feel burdened by any of them...just goes to show that the church has turned illogic into a religion in itsself.
The real meaty truths obviously sit heavily with many Christians, or they feel that Christianity is a burden. True Christians know the truth in "the truth sets you free"
If freedom is burdensome, then these people are simply more illogical church goers.

You must keep in mind that logic is not a viable measure for the things of faith. You will never figure it out through logic and through logic no one will ever be able to satisfy your questions.
