Madam
Thank you for the comment.
Good to see you're back and that things are falling into place for you.
I hope that all of my posts get people to think, so that is really about the greatest compliment anyone can give me.

Good Post - sure made me think!
I am very open minded to all....somethings I may believe - other things I may not...but, I don't follow anything...except my own intuition of right and wrong...it's got me this far, anyhow.

kooka_lives - in fairness, the basis of the ongoing harrassment by some of
Blogit's more fervent dead prophet followers has more than one element.
Everything you mention in this post and the societal conditioning that makes these people think this way is probably the biggest factor but we cannot forget the fact that a lot of the nonsense we are subjected to are purely emotional responses. Some of these people have never set foot off of the continent. Shoot I've even had one of them argue with me that Saudi Arabia has more Christians than Muslims. They think that the planet is merely one big extension of America which in turn is in their minds a continuance of the mentalities instilled by whatever form of Christianity exists within their small enclaves. They simply do not know any better, are incapable of breaking out of their social conditioning and are taken completely aback to find someone expressing a religious opinion that contravenes their own. If some of these people want to refer to a life of self responsibility, productivity, confidence and self defined success as worshipping nothing, so be it. It beats the hell out of spending one's existence attempting to convince themselves that they have invisible friends.
