Re: RainyDayInMay
thankfully she is bathed and groomed so often, she only smells like rain and her shampoo, when she gets wet...

That is so sad though. I worry about her gone, one day.

RainyDayInMay
I had a golden retriever for 13 years.  She was the sweetest thing.  I also love the rain.  I didn't much care for the smell of the doggie in the rain.  Now that she is no more, I find out that I could have rubbed her down with a sheet of bounce to get rid of that wet-dog smell.

Re: walking a dog in the freezing winter
how sad is it that I don't remember? It's not like it's complicated. I could have sworn it was this one, but apparently not. (no record) oh well... I also keep trying to think of something that would be a big clue but I can't... I suck. :)

walking a dog in the freezing winter

would do me in, LOL. Well, maybe not, but I can't imagine I'd ever love it. Rain, maybe but not snow and cold.

Thanks for your sweet comment yesterday. I wish you could remember your other nickname from years ago, I'd like to know who you were!

rainyday in may....I loved this...
sometimes we find relief in the simplest of tasks, forced upon us but when accepted it's a joy in disguise.

Re: Rainy
As am I, Troosha. I wouldn't trade her (my dog) for anything! It's a small price to pay, and I love walking her. I just don't always want to do it :)

Rainy
In as much as urban living with a dog can be a hassle sometimes (the leashed walk when you're not in the mood) the dog forces you to get out there and, as was the case today, your spirits were lifted.  Most of us without dogs simply look out the window on a rainy day. Glad you enjoyed your morning walk.
