I think they will turn more to the democrats, as the dems. are even more loud and proud, supporters of amnesty - while, at least some republicans are finding the courage to speak out (and vote) against amnesty, and in favor of building the fences that are desperately needed.
As far as "legals" views on "illegals," my guess is (without having looked at any data), that it's probably close to a 50/50 split - if you do have statstistics on this, please share them with us!
