I had no idea my post would take us to...
...GRANDMA! This has been a delightful diversion...but you guys are right. It is a serious subject, and it is/will affect all of us sooner or later!

No offense intended on my part, either
Terrorism is ugly, ugly, ugly. It must stop. The diamonds reminded me of that other story, and we took a side road for a bit. However, ... at least, we gave the initial posting some high profile visibility for a few minutes, perhaps boosting its audience reach? Anyway, this stuff is addicting. I had heard, but had no idea such "nonsense" was true. I must get to the bank! I have to deposit money desperately! My final paycheck is here, so off I go. Ciao, for now, fellow bloggers!

Editor, I thought that you had read my beauty tips blog about not letting your teeth get more than four feet away at any time.
I do have them, sanded into little points like shark teeth.

No fear intended
Oh, I am glad to hear it. I meant it totally tongue-in-cheek when I said to hang onto your teeth. BTW, you are ALREADY a diamond, as far as I can tell.

Editor Writer, you don't frighten me, I Now Have Something to look forward to, becoming a real diamond.
That was the other half of the story that I had forgotten to retain. Then I could fund some terrorist action and become infamous. Now that really depresses me.

Oh there is more, hang onto your teeth grandma for this one...
As a news editor, I had the dubious honor of publishing a story about diamonds made out of -- (hush.... drum roll) GRANDMA! I am dead serious. They have a bluish tint, while Fidos are more yellowish (I wonder what Old Yeller would think about that?). Anyway, they take Grandma's ashes or Fidos and superheat them to create the precious stones that can be turned into jewelry for their grieving decendants to wear. Seems ghoulish to me. Watch out abuelita, you might wind up swinging from someone's neck chain or on a ring for eternity, if you don't specify that your desires are otherwise! (THIS IS FOR REAL...)

have you read about the new manufactured diamonds that are barely distinguishable from the real?
I think that the value of diamonds will plummet as these new diamonds flood the market. It may then have an effect on politics.
