That must be hard for you. I dread my eldest moving to Uni. Mobiles have their virtues -they surely beat the days of queuing as a student in a corridor for a payphone and everybody listening in to calls home. He will be fine I am sure.

I started college pretty early (at 17), so I've lived away from my parents
since then. The experience really made me very independent, even though, I know my parents worried, too. Best luck to you and your son.
