Perplexing verse
Good morning,
Being a person that saved, sanctified and filled with the Precious Holy Ghost, as evidenced by the 'speaking of other tongues' I know what it means. Once you have experienced the 'gift' of receiving Jesus Spirit, you cannot turn back or look back to the things which the Lord Jesus has graciously delivered you from. It is possible to once again return after you have 'true repentance' of your sin, but the example of the house being swept and then the return of seven more for the one you were rid of is true. The Holy Ghost is the earnest down payment on what we have coming, and nothing on this earth is worthy of me trading one minute in glory for!
Sorry, if I seem to be rambling, but so many thoughts flooded my mind when I read your intro. My question to you is, are you a party crasher or will you be an invited guest to the Wedding Feast! Please see my post of 5/30!
