Re: Interesting, Soterios. I find that humans are as holy as they wish to
I personally think that holiness is a standard, a benchmark.

Paul says that children are HOLY. Children have an inner spirit which is undefiled, which I beleive is a reason why many kids are seeing and talking with invisible friends when they are very young. As the sins pile up, an inner darkening occurs and they are no longer Holy.
Therefore they can no longer see or communicate with these angelic beings.

What I have been trying to explain is that the word holy means "wholeness of light"

It is a state of spiritual wholeness, without defilement of darkness, which we all must return to.

Since our spirits ought to be pure light, as God's spirit is pure light, then we can therefore by logical deduction only see Christ when we are (made) holy.

Holiness is not a state we can make for ourselves and you cannot be more Holy than the next person...you are either unholy (darkened) or Holy (enlightened).

You are either made Holy, or not, because it entails the work of the Holy spirit.

Sanctification requires that you submit yourself to a process, a work, a struggle, a labour.

I am trying to get people to see this, but they don't seem to understand it.

This is the missing link which people seem reluctant to accept.

The whole process involves us shedding something.

We must be circumcised in spirit...we must snip off that thing or stuff causing a dirtying, or a corruption of that which is 100% light.

It's like saying if you drink orange juice that is 70% pure, you must return to 100% freshly squeezed juice, because it was never meant to be corrupted by additives or chemicals.

Well i thought i would give my own explanation of concepts like resurrection and salvation, but

I didn't intend for it to be a cliffhanger, except that I beleive that my salvation is on the horizon after two years of intense struggle.

I hope to be able to explain the process of spiritual liberation.

Interesting, Soterios. I find that humans are as holy as they wish to be.
By the way, where is the demystifying?  Is this a cliffhanger post?
