Dear WavyDavy, probably because it is difficult for (too) many of us to take our own responsibilities. It is quite simple, fascinating and comfortable to project all in a wonderful and perfect future. Think about the difficulty or understanding people, emotions, etc.: OK, let's use some magic little formula! We have no more need to use our own brain.

What happens now in the present will determine what occurs in the future. I'll never understand why some people won't live in the present.
