Corbin - you should have given ya money to a true bird conservation
society - 'give to Caeser what belongs to Caeser". Aplogies if I'm being a bit obscure - but your post has gotten to me - watch out for my 'reply' !!

Corbin, darlin'...I jus' love the way your head works! This allegory is
about as perfect as I have ever read. Bein' a bird feeder myself, I know exactly what you're talkin' about! And, God forbid, Corbin if you had not taken down those bird feeders...the second wave of attack would have been close behind...squirrels!

Im Reading A Lot of Jealously These Comments
Sounds like a lot of you are projecting your dissatisfaction with your state onto California.  As a native Californian, who went to college in Providence, RI and lived 10 years in CT and NY (before moving back to Los Angeles), I can tell you there is no better place to live in the country.  Beautiful weather, beautiful people, and plenty of room to stretch your legs.  All this negativity is just jealously over your crappy weather and lack of diversity, wherever that may be. :) Keep in mind, if you get rid of CA, you subtract an economy that would be the 5th largest in the world on its own.  You would also lose access to all of our great television and movies that we produce.  Good luck trying to get Deleware to pick up the slack...

This is excellent. Yes take down the bird feeders. We need bumper stickers that say NO MORE HUMAN BIRD FEEDERS' or some such.

Corbin: Great analogy regarding our immigration crisis.  I gather this is what you're talking about.

Haha!  It's like our cat.  If his water bowl is empty, the city shuts off our water too.  We're walking on eggshells even if the bird feeder is well away from the house.

By the way, I'm glad you (also) recognize the "China threat" - I don't know if you're a neo-con (which, as I understand it, is a democrat who became a republican, like William Bennet), but I'm just a plain, old conservative, who grew up, always (rightfully) mistrusting communist regimes. I tend to have more disagreements with neo-cons - Naut and I have a friendly disagreement over Bill Kristol, who proudly calls him self a "squish" on the illegal immigration issue!  Reagan changed parties, but was never referred to (or acted like, a neo-con), maybe that's because it's a relatively newer term.

Corbin-Dallas

I can relate, but I'm psychotic see. I let the feeders get empty, but I leave 'em there and I call oot to them,

"You're ungrateful, so God told me to teach ya's a lesson, and I like it , 'cuz 'm saving money too"
