Well, as a former hand bell player for the Lutheran church, I might add that I have also entertained masses quite innocently using the various media of television, radio, oil painting, writing, violin, theatre and reading out loud to my children.

What? You mean the Flintstones weren't real?
Oh well; at least there's still Santa Claus...

Which is why creationism isn't found in the Sci-fi section
There's no science involved.

What comes to mind after laughing at this post --
is a question. Why do you think science fiction sells so well?  Perhaps because we all want to believe in magic kingdoms and fair play, there is a force with a dark side and ultimate utopia...

ThomasWelch - This is considered a challenge amongst adults:

"Much compelling evidence exist that tends to disagree with your sarcastic pesimism....... "

It's very simple, I asked you to put up or shut up. You have yet to do either. You mention the words respect and narrow mindedness in your comments as well. Nonsensical drivel that places mankind contemporary to dinosaurs is about as insulting as it gets. Insulting to the intelligence of anyone who can tie their own shoes or hasn't had a bible lobotomy. Just take a little closer look at your so called compelling evidence (if it exists), I can virtually guarantee that somewhere, somehow there is someone connected with it that is selling something. A book, subscriptions to a church, or tickets to a creationist themepark, or whatever.  What do you think Whysper was referring to when using the term: "snake oil salesmen?" . . . you've been had boy but you just don't seem capable of realizing it.

By the way, I never chalenged you. I just tried to show you a different veiw. I should have known better by the narrow minded words in your post....

Should I go to the trouble to show this and much, much more would you even be willing to admite you were looking at partial evidence. The things I could show you can't be explained away with cartoon titles.......I'm not sure This would be worth my time.......If you were truly open minded I would go to the trouble. As disrespectful as you are maybe you deserve your beliefs.......

ThomasWelch - anecdotal evidence does not cut it when you challenge others
"Have you read about the caves in south america . . . . " No I haven't read about the caves in South America, show us something on it, anything. It has to be from a credible source however which means no private blogs or private web sites.

Whysper - no apology necessary - there is nothing unreasonable about asking

someone who is throwing contentious barbs to back what they say.

You may get a laugh out of this. The last time I posted this blog, I had a former blogger step up to the plate to attempt to show me some proof. HERE

Read my statements and then read yours, who seems the most unshakable?......I simply go where the evidence leads......The world is not flat....Have you read about the caves in south america where dino bones were found with human bones and it appeared the dinos had been cut up and eaten by humans?......They even made tools with some of the bones....flutes of teridactile wing bones and such.......Dig into that and get back with me...I'd like to hear how you explain this away.

I apologize gomedome
I didn't mean to take up your blogspace with a battle of wits against an unarmed opponent.  I'll be quiet now.

Shall we agree to disagree and be done with it then?..........

I don't sound open minded enough?

get out your dictionary and look up those words, cause I don't think you understand what they mean.  Of the two of us, I'd say you'd be the one who's already made up his mind.  No one is asking you to be a teacher, just provide some of this compelling evidence.

If you can't back up your challenging statements, put them back in your pocket and walk away.  You're no student, because you haven't learned anything you only mimic what your limited imagination can retain.

ThomasWelch - Okay, I get it now

I'm not going to pick on you any further. All I will add is that one visit to an extensive dinosaur site such as Drumheller, Alberta, Canada puts the notion of Genesis versus pre-historic timelines completely to rest. Not in terms of complete accuracy which is impossible to determine but in terms of inaccuracy. Genesis simply cannot be, it is nothing more than primitive man's chronicle.

Better to not have a blog as to have one of such narrow-minded views as this.

I am not a teacher....I am a student.......You don't sound open minded enough to interpret any evidence anyway........

ThomasWelch the blogger without a blog
I didn't think you had any of your so called evidence.  I don't do the leg works for schmucks in a debate.  You do your own leg work, provide valid supportable evidence or admit you're just pawn for some snakeoil salesman in plaid.

ThomasWelch - I haven't had my laugh for the day so let us see some of what

you call compelling evidence?

You cannot overcome the real physical evidence of scientific, archeological and historical discoveries with manufactured yarns and wishful thinking.

posted by gomedome on May 31, 2007 at 3:13 PM | link to this | reply

ok, the kids were incesting it up a bit,

but they didn't marry, they didn't have any priests to perform the ritual or sacrifice the virgin or whatever it is that pre-christians did for marriage ceremonies.

And yes, it confirmed that plaid was invented by noah to tell the girls from the sheep.

Whysper -there is no doubt that Eve was a clone woman but ask yourself this

. . . who did their kids marry?

I often wonder how long it took after the Ark years for people to stop wanting to buy matching plaid his and her shirts? Is this the era where the Grand Ole Opry was conceived?

compelling evidence?

what in the bejesus are you smokin'?  There is no evidence whatsoever, just half baked theories and bulltrype totin' proselatizing snakeoil salesmen.

wake up and smell the coffee(can you tell I'm in a coffeehouse)

Come on, get with the program

First of all, it wasn't incest, since Eve was made from his rib it's more like a super exotic form of masterbation.  It didn't matter how many the had when noah came along cause all except noah's family was wiped out(along with the dinosaurs).

Noah's family went to work and this was a lot of incest, but it wasn't a crime till there were enough people that you couldn't figure out who your second cousing was.
