Saul Relative: That is a good ticket only I would have it reversed.  Paul/Thompson.  Thompson has a much better chance of getting the Republican nomination than Paul.  If you don't support the current Iraqi foreign policy; you're doomed as a Republican presidential candidate.

I'm with you, WavyDavy. They boycotted the last planned Fox debate and

that should have been enough to make their point.  Fox News is extremely biased in favor of the right, but they are a significant media source, reaching millions.  And it wouldn't hurt the Democrats to have to field some tough questions, the likes of which only conservatives can throw at them.  It will show their worthiness (or not).  Carrying on this boycott seems a little cowardly to me.  Not saying that Biden is the only noncoward among them, but at least he's being realistic.  Fox News is a major player.  Here's the deal:  Participate in a debate where many disaffected conservative (many Republican) voters can watch and decide if they might actally agree and vote for you, or not participate and have many of the commentators on Fox News slam you every chance they get for being too cowardly to engage in a debate on their network.  Like I said, once got your point across.  Twice will only make you look weak, insubstantial, and cowardly (and with idiots like Sean Hannity spewing his ignorance to millions, rest assured those adjectives and many others will be used if the Democrats continue with this rather inane boycott).

Hey, Wavy, how about a Fred Thompson/Ron Paul ticket?  How's that grab ya?
