Right you are, OTA. The problem seems to be all about posturing
without common sense.  Sex isn't the dirty, immoral thing these puritans twist it into being.  Sex for procreative reasons only is still sex, no matter the age, and protecting the life of your daughter should matter far more than whether you trust her moral standards or not.

Saul
~and where was the uproar at the recommendation to vaccinate against Hepatitis B, a routine vaccine against yet another ... sometimes sexually transmitted disease. Some religious people are being led by the nose by religious zealots who don't know their asses from a hole in the ground and should get all of the facts before 'leading' their flocks into misery.

It's just further proof that we'll never totally eliminate ignorance, Toby.
It's quite sad, actually, considering all those children whose idiot parents are signing their death warrants over superstitious nonsense.  Haven't the daughters of Eve paid enough throughout the centuries?

This is Great! Self-Eliminating Christian Fundamentalists!!!
If the Christian Fundamentalist lunatics prevent their offspring from being vaccinated, there will be fewer Christian Fundamentalist lunatics in the future. Great! If they want to sacrifice their own kids on the altar of their bigotry, let 'em. This could be of immense benefit to the rest of the world.
