Answer my question (in the comments section of your blog).
It's all, like, profound and stuff.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 10:38 PM | link to this | reply

Oh shhhh!!
That's insulting! I don't want to know what "hobo's drop" is now. I don't even care what it is anymore!

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 10:37 PM | link to this | reply

Someday, bandana, I'll have Michelle explain it to you.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 10:31 PM | link to this | reply

It's okay.
What's "Hobo's drop"? I still can't figure it out.

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 10:30 PM | link to this | reply

I just read a really funny story ... that's why I was gone so long.
It took a while to explain it to Michelle.

Oh, yes. Sometimes democracy do fail.

No. She was already there when I joined.
After she was appointed as a moderator, the very next opening that came up, she immediately nominated me, and I was eventaully voted in (after some "spirited" debate).

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 10:15 PM | link to this | reply

That sounds like serious trouble.
Did you guys nominate yourselves to the "web master"? Or how did you two become moderators?

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 10:07 PM | link to this | reply

I show her most of the good ones.
You know, she and I used to be moderators on a "young writers forum"?

Does Manon read your blog?

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 9:32 PM | link to this | reply

Yeah, we were all having lunch, and she just blurts out that Roger Ebert is going to have to have his jaw removed.

And, at the time, no one believed her.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:47 PM | link to this | reply

What! He had his jaw removed?!
I didn't know that (I'm so going to hell.)

Manon predicted it? So witches do hang out together... interesting.

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 8:42 PM | link to this | reply

Well, he wasn't before he had his jaw removed.

Which, you might recall, Manon amazingly predicted way before it happened.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:39 PM | link to this | reply

If he has a "big foot", then yes.
Ebert is so creepy looking.

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 8:34 PM | link to this | reply

Is it about Ebert?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:31 PM | link to this | reply

I'm going to post my dream very soon.

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 8:29 PM | link to this | reply

No contest ... Ebert is/was the greatest film critic who has ever lived.
Roeper isn't even in Ebert's league as a reviewer or a writer. Although, having said that, I certainly don't dislike Roeper as much as most people do, however.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:23 PM | link to this | reply

Which one do you prefer? Ebert or Roeper?

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 8:20 PM | link to this | reply

I enjoyed the first two equally, actually.

Btw, if you turn on ABC in about 45 minutes, you can see Richard Roeper and his guest critic review it.

Bet you anything he absolutely hates it.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:16 PM | link to this | reply

That's a shocker. Even though the 2nd one was not as funny
as the 1st (IMO), but was still pretty good, so I really had high hopes for this one.

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 8:13 PM | link to this | reply

It was a flaccid, laugh-less, uninspired rehash that pales in comparison to its predecessors.

But other than that, it was great!

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:10 PM | link to this | reply

I have to try that out sometimes...
How was Shriek III?

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 8:07 PM | link to this | reply

No, it's intended to disable their opponent.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:05 PM | link to this | reply

No way! Are you serious?!
Is that suppose to be torture? Or is it, like, foreplay (aren't they, like, horny all the time)?

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 8:03 PM | link to this | reply

That's only in movies and video games, bandana ...
In real life their most common method of attack is the "titty twister".

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 8:00 PM | link to this | reply

I really didn't know gorillas bite; I thought they would only
throw and/or pound their enemies.

Um, some things that weren't clear ...

At least not to me.

Keep in mind, I wrote this within, like, 20 minutes of arriving home.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 7:35 PM | link to this | reply

What did you edit? I couldn't tell...
Anyways, what happened to this zoo you're talking about?

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 7:33 PM | link to this | reply

What did you, like, just wake up, bandana?

Anyways, I just got done editing for clarity.

What's in the papers? What happened yesterday?

Thanks for dropping by, riri.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 6:56 PM | link to this | reply

Ya, I did, actually, bandana.
And I'm not much into gorillas, sadly. Plus already have several stuffed orangutans, so ...

posted by riri0322 on May 19, 2007 at 3:16 PM | link to this | reply

So did you get the stuffed animal?
Actually, I think you should have gotten a stuffed gorilla and then show it off to "Bongo", just to make him go crazy.

posted by bandanafish on May 19, 2007 at 2:51 PM | link to this | reply

I hear those ape lawyers can be brutal.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 1:41 PM | link to this | reply

Madem, LOL, good idea.

posted by shelly_b on May 19, 2007 at 1:38 PM | link to this | reply

That's probably for the best, Shelly.

I should also note that "Bongo" isn't his real name. I chose to protect his identity.

Plus I didn't want him to sue me.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 1:38 PM | link to this | reply

Madem, I suggest that you don't see the gorillas anymore? LOL
you know...give Bongo time to forget about you.

posted by shelly_b on May 19, 2007 at 1:34 PM | link to this | reply

The weird thing, Shelly, is that this one seems so uniquely and exclusively preoccupied with me.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 1:32 PM | link to this | reply

sounds like a fun trip to the zoo! LOL
yeah...those gorillas are always doing weird and scary things.
