This is the greatest blessing, freedom of speech. Some take advantage and say hard, cruel and ugly things. But we can speak our minds we try to share this with all the world but it is hard to do. They rather come here and have freedoms they pick and choose and bring their ways that oppose freedoms and impose them on us. This happens from many directions. Our country is being chipped away of our freedoms. Thank you for your read and comment.

Re: lindo
The whole world is about the politicians having their way not what is just and best for all concerned. Too bad.

If you thought waiting for candidates to be selected was boring , try putting up with a middle-eastern-style referendum and/or elections.

Re:Writer of Litght
I read this link. That is such a shame. Islam is taking over the world, a lot of it by killing their own. How could any brother just up and kill his sister because the law says she must go into a marriage she is unwilling to live in. Terrible.

Speaking of Germany . . .
A German judge upheld a Muslim man's right to beat his wife on the grounds that Islamic Sharia law trumps her own country's consitution. See

Live and let live for sure. Someone almost always has something to say at times, just to be paid attention to, I think. What happened in Germany was dreadful! Blessings to you on this fine Saturday.

From an agnostic, who's "religion" is his staunch, American Nationalism - I assure you, I'm not a hedonist - even as an agnostic, I believe that struggling and suffering, often bring about (ultimately) the deepest joy - and also helping others - of course, I was raised by two devout (and sincere) Roman Catholic parents -I suppose that may have had something to do with it!

Re: Kabu
I fear we will have more and more chaos and war. Nothing is getting better. Those who do not want all this angst and anger also don't want to stand up against the bullies. That would require abhorrent behavior to interact in such a manner those causing this will understand us. However, being a Christian I believe all in on the predicted road because man's behavior is as was predicted. It will be alright it is just such a sad thing to see the oppression of good people.

Re: Muser dearest
I am planning on getting beamed up, if the Lord doesnt tarry. But he has suggested a life span in the last days will be 120 and people are getting older and older. Why I figured that out last night when I looked in the mirror. LOL It is scary right here in America when you listen to the politicians they are goofy as can be.

I too am a Republican sometimes.
I thought for a minute there that I had posted this without saying anything more than the subjet line. I am still trying to learn the ins and outs of the site and not doing a very good job of it yet, but I have to tell you that I agree with everything that you say in this story.
I mostly consider myself an Independent, but Dad was a Repbulican; I have noticed that I vote Republican more often than Democrat or anything else. Still I hate to put my name on a one party ticket and won't vote straight Republican unless I believe that they are the best for each and every office.
I hate the fact that the politicians have begun spending more time running for office than governing the land. It seems almost as soon as one election is over they began preparing for the next one.
I loved all that you had to say.

HEY LADY! I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SAW THAT STORY ON THE NEWS!
IF THAT IS NOT PERSECUTION, WHAT IS IT? IT SURE SEEMS TO ME THAT THE WORLD IS GETTING MEANER AND SCARIER EVERY DAY! I DON'T THINK I WANT TO LIVE TO BE 100...I WOULD RATHER GET "BEAMED UP" AND SPEND ETERNITY IN HEAVEN!

What you say here is true terrorism ~ "A fourteen year old girl was kidnapped from her home and put into a boarding school of sorts because the family was home schooling and they taught Bible studies."
Perhaps your people can form a defense league and suppress such an outrageous crime against the families and members of your society.

Justi...
Silly woman...I'll still be your friend if you live to be 100. Let's see, about the time you're 100 I'll be 72...God willing in terms of the both of us still being alive. You may be deaf and blind, but chances are I'll still be getting around relatively well so I'll come pick you up every Saturday afternoon in my mechanically motorized wheel chair, sit you on my lap, and we'll paint the town red!
Wait a minute, maybe by the time I'm 72 they'll be making 2 seater mechanically motorized wheel chairs. If that's the case, I'll drive and you can ride shotgun! Get out your 2004 calendar and pencil me in for each Saturday afternoon! Okay? XO
