The zoo, Corbin.
Btw, you wake up at 2:43 in the afternoon?

It's not a counterfeit, is it, Kabu?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 19, 2007 at 1:34 PM | link to this | reply

I like to create that delicate balance, Azur.

Good Morning, Mademoiselle....
Where are you taking us today?

Very funny
I see you veer between the minimalist approach and overworking the pen

Thanks, Scriber.
He's sort of a mixed breed, actually (half dog, half boy).

I could see it hanging in there, too, Offy.
Where exactly, I'm not sure (since the style is so hard to categorize). Perhaps in one of the restrooms.

I think there is a serious

Well, it's abstract, Scriber.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 18, 2007 at 2:49 PM | link to this | reply

Is this abstract art?

Mademoiselle - Ha, ha, ha!

Just so long as no one gets hurt, Foliage ...

Unlike that last riot I incited. (Who knew mental patients could be so sensitive?)

Mademoiselle
Ha, ha, ha!  What're trying to do over here, incite a riot!  lol  I keep seeing your blog scroll by and wondered what on earth is that girl up to?

posted by FoliageGold on May 18, 2007 at 2:21 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, I see, Talion. Actually, they're rejoicing because I'm leaving.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 18, 2007 at 2:17 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle
Not really. It's all the jumping at odd angles with the arms stretched towards the heavens and such. Add a couple more laying prostrate and it'll be perfect.

posted by Talion on May 18, 2007 at 2:10 PM | link to this | reply

Why? Do you recognize the people in my picture, Talion?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 18, 2007 at 1:59 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle
Have you been hanging out at a pentacostal church?

posted by Talion on May 18, 2007 at 1:50 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you, Masky. I appreciate your not finding me delusional.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 18, 2007 at 1:46 PM | link to this | reply

LMAO...
Since honesty is the best policy...the picture came up and I thought...OMG...stick people?  WTF?
So then I hurried up and looked at your 3 REAL pieces (fabulous, baby) and realized you weren't artistically challenged or delusional in terms of your artistic ability.  No, you're just a smartass....I love it!

posted by ---Masky--- on May 18, 2007 at 1:35 PM | link to this | reply

I know, Masky, it's such a powerful piece it leaves one speechless, doesn't it?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 18, 2007 at 1:28 PM | link to this | reply

I only fear that they may not be able to fully grasp such fine art, riri.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 18, 2007 at 1:25 PM | link to this | reply

No, but you're pretty close, Rcky.

Meanwhile, although the posterboard kinda blends into the white background here on Blogit ... in person, it's really quite stunning, actually.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 18, 2007 at 1:23 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you so much for the support, Offy.
And, hopefully, they'll appreciate how much effort I put into each scribble.

Madem...

in knowing that you have a sense of humor I so thought your title was eluding to a post about Herpes...THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING.

This stick portrait is uh, um, really nice!

they'll be so pleased with such an obvious genoius work of art

I think a deep blue may bring out the blue in your stick family! LOL Hey I used to live in NY...what school are you attenting? Columbia, Cornell?????

My own home, Troosha, in Philadelphia.

Though I allow my mother and brother to stay there, too.

P.S. Great quote, btw. Great painter, too.

Consult an optometrist immediately, Corbin.

You're welcome, afzal.

Mademoiselle
What a great sketch - worthy of both the honoured tradition of hanging it on a fridge or capturing it in a finally crafted frame.  That's the dichotomy of the piece.  Where's "home" that you'll be returning to?
"If a symbol should be discovered in a painting of mine, it was not my intention. It is a result I did not seek. It is something that may be found afterwards, and which can be interpreted according to taste" ~ Marc Chagall

My aunt, my uncle, myself, some other person I don't recognize, plus what appears to be some sort of "dog-boy".

Who are the characters in this masterpiece?

posted by bandanafish on May 18, 2007 at 12:22 AM | link to this | reply

I consider myself a post-post-modern artist, actually, Gramsci.

Mlle
In these days of post-modernity it might be the first effort that makes you the fortune!

posted by Antipodean on May 18, 2007 at 12:01 AM | link to this | reply

All depends on the specific game, bandana. They vary wildly in terms of length.

I can't recall the last time it took me more than a week to beat one, though.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 17, 2007 at 11:57 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you very much, Muser.
And I'm hoping to get my own solo exhibition sometime within the next century.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 17, 2007 at 11:55 PM | link to this | reply

Don't say stuff like that!
That's a terrible thing to say.

How long does it usually take for you to finish a game? Plus, do you eat or drink water during those days?

posted by bandanafish on May 17, 2007 at 11:46 PM | link to this | reply

OOOOH LA LA...CEST MAGNIFIQUE! WHEN DO YOU THINK IT WILL GO INTO PRINT...
I COULD NEVER HOPE TO OWN AN ORIGINAL! I CAN'T SAY IT IN FRENCH...SOUTHERNESE WILL HAVE TO DO: HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER, DARLIN! YOU DESERVE THE TIME TO HAVE SOME FUN!

posted by muser on May 17, 2007 at 11:45 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, I'll be playing. I promise you that.

Unless, of course, I'm, like, dead or something.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 17, 2007 at 11:40 PM | link to this | reply

I mean don't even start playing "God of War 3".
You know, I don't wan... anyways. You know?!

posted by bandanafish on May 17, 2007 at 11:38 PM | link to this | reply

Start playing?

Um, I've been playing video games since I was, like, 9. (And it became an obsession three years later when I was first able to beat my brothers at "Mortal Kombat 2".)

posted by Mademoiselle on May 17, 2007 at 11:33 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, gosh. What's with video games?! It's for kids and lonely
men! Please don't even start playing. What do you get out of it anyway? Since you are already able to conquer almost anyone in "real" life.

posted by bandanafish on May 17, 2007 at 11:30 PM | link to this | reply

I find that notion to be highly dubious, T.

P.S. Supposedly, "God of War 3" will include a playable goddess! If true, don't count on ever hearing from me again once the game's released.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 17, 2007 at 11:25 PM | link to this | reply

I think you'll find it amusing.

posted by bandanafish on May 17, 2007 at 11:21 PM | link to this | reply

No.
But I will. Soon.

posted by bandanafish on May 17, 2007 at 11:20 PM | link to this | reply

Of course, I could easily just check and see ... but I'm far too lazy.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 17, 2007 at 11:12 PM | link to this | reply

I'm not sure if that's how I would call it...
But I meant that part that hasn't grown up yet.

posted by bandanafish on May 17, 2007 at 11:09 PM | link to this | reply

Perhaps you're responding to my childlike innocence, bandana?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 17, 2007 at 10:59 PM | link to this | reply

Hahahaha.
That's very cute... almost heart-warming for some reason.
