I have double-pierced ears, but that's only because I can't figure out which pair of earrings to wear.
As for tattoos, not for me. Don't mind them on others as it's their body as you say. I once saw a lady on tv who'd tattooed her whole body to hide the 3rd degree burns she survived in a fire.

I agree my ex had tattoos but they didnt bother me, its those like my son that are covered in them that bother me

I'm not cool with tats
1) Skin is perfect the way it is.
2) I wouldn't get one because I have brown skin and I think tattoos usually don't contrast beautifully with brown skin.
3) When I see tattoos, I'm thinking at the back of my mind, eww, someone wrote on your beautiful skin with a marker, why don't you wash it off? Then I remember it's not marker, it's a tattoo and you actually wanted it there. Creepy.

Hi L...I have three tattoos and I got them before they were fashionable...
When I got mine only biker chicks and guys got them....Oh, and yes, I'm a biker chick! They are more acceptable now and people aren't shocked when they see them. I have mine in places that can only be seen in public in a bathing suit. One of my friends was a famous tattoo artist named Spider Webb (his business name) and he regularly did photos for different magazines. I was once in Easy Rider, a biker magazine in a bikini and showing his artwork. Nope, don't ask me to post the pic....That was a long time ago! LOL

Nah..I don't mind a tattoo if it is covered. I sure don't date men who have them except where a shirt can cover. I have a mermaid on my hip but it is covered except when I swim..

I don't have any tatts or piercings. I never understood why someone would want to do something so permanent. As we grow older we tend to grow into different people, and I just don't see the me of tomorrow agreeing with the me of today getting a tatt. Piercings are a bit different, if you decide later that you don't want it then you can just take it out and it will heal over, but I really have never desired one. I think that the reason men might do it is to look more mature or feel more masculine, more like they are a part of something. As to why women would do it I don't have a clue, I have yet to see a Tatt on a woman and think that it was attractive or cute. I do like the eye brow piercings on women though, is that weird? Anyway you asked for it and there it is, what I think.

Both of my ears are pierced, but I have absolutely no desire to pierce anything else. I don't particular care for tattoos. First of all, there's no image or symbol important enough to place on my body forever. Secondly, my skin makes my life interesting enough. I have no need to decorate it.
