I'm so glad your mother is all right. What a horrible place to work. I know that someone must do it and I've known other nurses who have worked in prisons for a time and nothing good came of it for them. I hope your mother will find something elsewhere, if only for your peace of mind.

Actually, mothers stay in your head...
and you become them. Don't know if that's entirely a bad thing, eventually I discovered my mom knew a thing or two - there was just so much crazy glue holding it all together. I hope yours is ok soon and that she finds a better job. Corrections work is so deadening, almost anything would be better - even waiting tables, hotel maid, secretary...

Oh my God. How awful! Your poor mother! Yes, I want this week to be over for you all, too! Goodness gracious, yes these dramas are reminders to enjoy to mundane. I needed that, thanks!
