Americans tend to focus on domestic politics and don't pay much attention to the rest of the world!

good topic
most Americans are completely ignoring these radicals and their intention bring the world under islamic rule. hopefully it won't take another Sept 11 to wake people up.

I'm glad to hear that you're not looking to Woody for anything but comedy, which is the only thing he's good at...And I shall definitely inform you and everyone else of the progress in the negotiations...

Please let me know as soon as you two decide (about the "Frick and Frack" issue) - "Ze future of Europe hangs in ze balance!" - that's a quote from "Napoleon" - in one of my favorite Woody Allen comedies, "Love and Death" - and, no, I don't look to "the Woodman" for moral leadership or political guidance!

Of course, the guys who said there were WMD's in Iraq are different guys from the ones telling us now 'not to worry'...

They make such a big deal over nothing, scare us with rumors,
and they hop up and down and scream "the sky is falling" and "Iraq has WMD."   So when they say don't worry, no problem -- it makes me very nervous.

Great post! You asked me what I was doing up so late last night, as I am again, now - insomnia, old boy! I've been struggling with it for years, now. I was reading one of the comments that you left on one of Corbin's posts - just curious, are you "Frick" or Frack?"LOL!

for anything to happen.

I seem to recall that. And we know it doesn't happen often and in more places because all these nice people are telling us it doesn't, and they wouldn't possibly be lying! And then, Jersey City isn't much of a place anyway...

Fear not! I'm sure the Pakistanis have everything under control! They're probably checking their flea markets as we speak, and all the Pakistani people are checking their closets, just in case...

One ounce of plutonium is too much to lose track of..I know after the USSR broke up the fear was great that much of it's plutonium would be sold on the black market and it was..Oh dear to think of such a thing in a flea market or any place outside of containment..

Do you remember when JFK Airlines lost a 20-gallon drum of cesium 137, enough to contaminate several city blocks and cause cancer and radiation sickness.  Somehow it ended up at a postal facility in Jersey City.  That was only as far back as 2005.  How do we know it doesn't happen often and in more places?
