Re: Taps
I am sure everyone has lied but there are those that have many lives hanging on their honesty and they seem to make a lifestyle of lying.

Re: Wiley
What a great comment, I want people to know I am only saying what I have written. I have no hidden agenda.

Re: Enigmatic68
I think I like your transpositions better they appear to be more appropriate. Keeping those guys deceived allows them to fight a cheap war.

I think you are so right. They expect him to have the answer they want and to change it as often as they want.

Re: Mary
I am so sorry about your brother. It wasn't just those who worked in those buildings but all the others who were there to help etc., It is terrible and should never be forgotten or belittled.  Thank you for your comments.

I think that the reason it is so easy for people to accuse others of lying is because everyone is so familiar with telling their own.   Is there on this earth a politician (or a human of any kind for that matter) who has not lied.  But, it is so convenient to overlook ones own and point out another's.   I'm almost jealous of Jerry Falwell chucking it all and getting out of this mess.

Justi - Forgot to tell you........
Read a post today by davideskin about immigration and thought you might be interested in his/her POV, but I forgot to write down the name of the blog.  I'll tell Enigmatic, too as he is interested in this issue as well.

Excellent post! My philosophy of life is that life - in almost ever single aspect, is a struggle - and obviously, that struggle includes politics - not the Bolshevik (or as I like to call them, the "Bullshitviks") "class struggle", and not the Nazi (or as I like to call them, the "Nutzis")) struggle between the "superior Aryan race" against all others - but a struggle between noble and ignoble peoples (nations) - and some people in this world (as has been the case throughout history), obviously have an extremely warped and disturbing idea of what is noble behavior - for example, blowing up innocent men, women, and children to get their "72-virgin reward!" As you like to say, "Keep it coming!"

Justi...
what's that old saying...hindsight is always 20/20?  I wonder if there is a single person out there who has never told a lie.  I also wonder who has said or done something they regret because it ended up affecting other people's lives?  I'm just thinking out loud.  It seems people expect our President to have all the answers.  It's just not humanly possible.

Thank you.  I'm real skittish on commenting on anything American political because it's not my country (even though I'm 1/2 American) you know?  It's hard for me.  My brother isn't the same person he was and never will be.  Nobody's fault, it just is.  He serves dinner on Saturday nights still in the homeless shelters from that night and Sunday noon meal.  We're in Afghanistan, too and our peoples are coming home draped in flags, as well.  I, as you do, hope we can continue to be friendly but it's becoming increasing hostile and I don't know what to do about that.  Honestly, I'm tuckered.  Keep fighting the good fight, okay?  Love to you dear lady.

Re: Mary

Your comment touched my heart. I am so glad your brother survived. I am thankful for him and all those that helped.

Actually that is the reason so many hate him, George Bush is a good man.  We appreciate your (CDN) being there with us. Thank you for your comment toward our country I hope we always have the best of relations. You have such a kind heart. Thanks again.

I do appreciate your comment. I have lived a long time in this free country. It breaks my heart that many want to turn it over to oppression. I will no keep silent while they do that.

Justi

You've touched on a couple of issues here that touch my heart.  Please educate me if I'm wrong?  I have to say something about 9/11.  My middle brother, Simon, sat outside WTCIV on that morning, he was eating a bagel when the first plane hit.  He was standing 25' from the building looking up as many others did when the second plane hit.  Ten minutes later he was in the rubble trying to haul people out when a steel girder hit him over the head.  Three days later he 'came to' in the middle of a courtyard in a hospital.  Your President was visiting, shook my brother's hand and said, "I'm sorry, Son."  My brother was on the phone with me at the time.......  I know this doesn't make up for anything GW did or did not do in office, but it sure meant a lot to me and my brother.  That afternoon when Simon returned to Queens a plane fell across his backyard.  There was nothing your President or anyone could've done at that time, he came home to Canada for three months.  He was a mess.

Well, by now you know about how I feel about I.N.S.

The war in Iraq.  Bless your country's heart.  I'm so sorry to say this, but please hear me.  Thank you for taking down that man.  There was no other country in the world could've done that.  No one.  I'm only sorry now that so many of your countrymen are perishing over there.  It's damned if America does and damned if America doesn't now.  I'm so sorry.  Please DO know our CDN military --as small as it is-- is over there with you.

I'm so dreadfully sorry.  Please know that I love you and your country?    Gosh, I'm getting tired of all this fighting.  I really am...............
