I feel this way quit often (as the lion) and overwhelmed most recently,
The emotions your poetry invoke are rather odd sometimes. Maybe because they speak to me so often, like a preacher when he seems to be speaking directly to you, you know? This lion felt not of rage but rather an anxiousness of spirit when something or someone becomes overwhelming to me spiritually I have problems reigning in the excitement from a revelation or moment of enlightenment.  I know I frighten people being overzealous or anxious because I feel things very deeply or am otherwise somewhat numb.  I haven't found a fence comfort to sit upon and am not a fan of gray.  I tend to live in vibrant technicolor, otherwise that of black and white. Not an unwillingness to listen or learn differing points of view, not at all...but rather to tame my roar and wait patiently, enjoying the journey as it unfolds. I do feel as a caged lion(ess), lol....most of the time. Good writing, good post!
