Pat_B,
I am still so sad. But my poor girl was just old and I did want to see her suffer. We'll miss her, but we can still celebrate the wonderful joy she brought us.

It's tough to lose a four-legged friend. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
But it sounds like you had some wonderful times together. :)

lovelyladymonk,
It's hard to let go, but sometimes you have to. It's sad though. I don't ever like to hear about anybody's babies dying. It's fact of life and a necessary evil. Maybe Dottie and Meeko will be friends in heaven.

Thanks Afzal,
She was a great doggie. I will miss her, but it was time for her to go.

Divine,
I think  you are correct in all you say. My Dottie used to smile a lot. I know she is in a place where they play ball all the time.

Sarooster,

I am so sorry for your loss.  In February, I also had to let my beautiful cat, Meeko go to rest.  He was also Diabetic and had gone into kidney failure.

I hope you'll take comfort in the memories of the happy times you shared with Dottie.

She's catching the flyballs again

I like to think she's running free, catching flyballs, hearing the birds chirp and grinning from ear to ear. My friend has Dalmatians and I swear they grin when they're happy!

I'm sorry to hear you lost your sweet dog.
