Wisely and fluidly written, Tony
Often people think that those who are childless are heartless, selfish, etc. Very untrue and unfair. Thanks for reminding.

Already the world's so overpopulated (reminds me of D

It's a link - I suppose you can link to somewhere else on the web with it.
I've never tried it, but maybe if you wrote the word 'peas' you could make that a link to a picture of peas somewhere on the web. Just in case anyone doesn't know what they look like. Very useful. Unlike a bag of milk. Now that was useful to see. No, don't warm it up, I like it cold. Some like it hot, i hear, but i like it cold, like ice-cream...!

Tea invitations---with crumpets, biscuits & afterwards, a game of croquet?
Tony, the themes are always so worthy because I think I am more serious than I am funny ...often history and current events take over my thoughts. This one too I have pondered, but not in any exquisite form and rhymes as you have done here. (Some of the rhymes were stretched...as I do more than I wish to in my own efforts). Really enjoyed this one ...and will catch up with your chatting with FG & yesterday's sonnet. Sorry about the rain there; in my neck of the woods, the heat & pollen (sinuses) knocked me out early last night. shalomfromneil

You talking with your mouth full? Naughty man! Thank you that was delicious! Peas are one of my favourite veggies. Plant them every March and my daughter loves to eat them while in the garden. So never did get much of a harvest. hee-hee. One summer she talked Nick into eating them and he did. With his mouthful he said: But, I don't even like peas! lol

I don't have Pringles very often, they were for a recent day out - I didn't eat them, so that was good of me. Mind you, we did eat out in the end! food, eh - what better subject is there? Can I come to your house for tea? We're having storms here. Why are you having your tea so late? Isn't it 9:00 pm there? I haven't had fish cakes in years, I like them. Had a lot of crab cakes in Florida, really yummy! You know we could have a pea fight with the neighbours.... Yes, we have Pringles but I'm not too friendly with them. They go right into my Mummy Tummy.

Yes, whether I'll be strong enough to live up to it I don't know, but I certainly think for people with a decent amount of assets, that a large chunk of it should go outside of the family. Tax is a fundamentally decent thing. As long as it's not wasted on war, of course!
