Personally, it's a bit brief and jumps around rather turbulently. Moreover, I think I mentioned all of the key points that are important to the debate today.
PS: I'm Canadian, and in Canada the debate is being re-visited mainly because we have a religious right-wing government in power. I'm not sure if the debate is being revived in the USA. I tried to de-Canadianise this post to attract more customers, but of course there are still some Canadian elements in it.

I agree with you.
Education in self-respect and tolerance for different point of views are the basis for changes in society, not restrictive laws.
