YP-
OKaayyyy. I will banish all anguish caused by the ingrate. I've got the prized jewel in my jaybird, you are so right!  I just happened to be up late (as usual) and caught this program (a sometimes.)  If they have another segment scheduled, and I know ahead of time, I'll be sure to give you a heads up. The nurse giving me my allergy shot today complimented the marcasite cross.  She practically cross examined me as to where I got it, and when I told her she asked 'did Jay know,' and was he OK with it?  Stephanie said, "She's got lots of online friends."  If I could have verbalized more easily I'd have said I learned the hard way not to keep secrets of the heart from my husband, but it's the truth and nothing but the truth these days.  Hope you are not so tired today, my friend. Blessings!

FoliageGold-
It's a book by Judy Blume for young girls. The title, Are You There God? It's ME, Margaret, deals with puberty.  When it was written, in the 70s, it was the first book that addressed the body angst of girls wondering why she isn't filling up her training bra as fast as she'd like.  She had talks with God and one of her friends think it is weird and wrong of her to talk to God without someone to mediate the conversation.  It still shows up on some parents' groups banned books list.

MandaLee-
I am sure that is happening on a large scale.  They had a place to join an online discussion group.  I believe we are coming upon a great spiritual awakening. It's OK to talk about "it."

Thanks for leaving comment!

If last night was an example, you are right. Religion gets mixed in and people cannot separate from the rules to talk about beliefs, I think.  My sil likes it when the people with flyers come to the door.  He likes to counter everything they throw at him.  He's quite spiritual and a believer but it prove what you are saying.  You can't debate a belief, because you assume one side is right or the winner. The other side is wrong and there IS no wrong or right, winner or loser. Thank you, again, for another jewel of wisdom.

Pleased to make your acquiantance as well. I appreciate your comment.  I, too, believe in a superior entity, deity, whatever name we put on him, he's/she's the same thing.  Too many lives have been lost, for centuries now, trying to erradicate ideas (religion- lot's of ideas with more rules).

I agree with you. The show promotes discussion.

Didn't see it. But I've come to the conclusion that debating about beliefs is a waste of time. Intelligent discussions are wonderful, but not debates.
