- Go to Upset About Ga$ Prices?
Nice try, Wavy, but no dice.
Hmmm . . . .
I seem to recollect that a certain hurricane had a heck of an impact ongas prices a couple of years ago. Also, the shenanigans of Madman Mahmoud in Iran drove crude prices to over $70 for a while; he'd shoot off his mouth and scare the market, then reap the profits as oil prices jumped over the prospect of him starting a new war.
And were we in Iraq when gas prices exploded thanks to the Arab oil embargo while Mr. Peanut was in the White House?

Sorry, Shelly!

All it took was a hurricane forecaster predicting mayhem on the gulf coast, with its consequent disruption of supply, and prices went up a dime.

Upset About Ga$ Prices?
Although I agree that demand is outpacing supply regarding gas prices, if the United States weren't involved in Iraq, prices wouldn't be so high. Prior to our invasion of Iraq in 2003, gasoline prices weren't increasing at such dramatic levels.
