Ha, ha, ha, well done! I had to copy and paste this one though because I couldn't read it on the screen. You know, you could try putting your radio on rather loud and then going away for a day?

Hi Neil - oh he won't read it.
This sonnet is quite humorous, it's not to be taken seriously. In fact, I've never had a cross word with the guy, and will carry on that way till I leave here. There's no point arguing with him now - it doesn't bother me so much any more - this poem was really just to record what life has been like for me in this flat shortly before i leave it and go back to family life. Thanks for the lemon tree - very refreshing to look at!

Hey hey now my friend--no violence, please. Forgive him after u call him a
name or two, for instance, "blubber" or "dope". But i confess, I laughed at your wonderful portrait of him who takes away valuable hours each night,a nd even during the day. Have u talked with him about the disturbances? Prepare a diplomatic conversation and kock on his door. Of course, adjust and modify what U say after his first reponse. From past experience, I have done better when Iprayed for the culprits and then knocked on their doors...but if I went w/o meditation/prayer or with anger, i did not succeed. They made more noise after 5 mins, or less! LOL (U have laready showed us that U make leomndade when life gives u lemons) shalomfromneil. And thanks for this good one--so long as BlubberGodMan does not read it!!!!&&&***^

Now, that's the spirit! And yes, I know the famous saying about "puns," but damnit, sometimes they are funny!

Boy, can I relate to those feelings! This is your version of Poe's, Cask of Amontillado! - So darkly beautiful! Death to Fortunato - may Montressor never get caught!

Thanks Proc - glad you can see what i meant.
Sometimes platitudes aren't enough - Mary seemed really taken aback and I was trying to think of something useful to say - something to bring her real comfort even though it might have seemed a bit shocking at first sight. i hope it did some good.

lol,you are so evil... Actually its lovely to be a writer because we get
our revenge via our imagination. I just wanted to say I came from Marys post and I was so touched by two things you said that people who kill themselves are not as in love with life as the rest of us are. And also about living life with lowered expectations. This is called contentment inspite of your circumstances. Its a lesson I try to teach my kids every day,to aim high but to be happy whatever they reach. Making the most of life as it is not wasting your energy bemoaning what you dont have. Contented people are so attractive. I think I feel a post coming....
