Re: Rob
I think the Sinatra movie was probably the better option. A few weeks ago I got the original Ocean's 11 out. It was a bit of fun seeing the Rat Pack all together.

Re:
You liked part 2? All I remember is it involved that octopus guy. I tend to prefer the superhero as a slightly dark post-modern, morally ambiguous anti-hero type.

Actually the film I'm intrigued to see is The History Boys.. I tend to like that "students on the brink of the rest of their lives thing being introduced to the wider world of inspiring ideas about life and history and occasional latin references which will shape their lives forever" genre... the closest I got to that at school was a listening to a dissilusioned old christian brother ranting about what an academic backwater our school was and how he wished he was dead.

I would say it's roughly equal to the first one, which was also pretty good, but not great.

(I hated the way the Green Goblin looked like he was naked.)

Seeing as no superhero movie ever could possibly live up to Part 2, this one is simply suffering more from the comparison.

You know what I bet would be a pretty good job to have?
Running a nuclear reactor.
Because that way, even if a terrible accident occurs ...
you'll just end up with some sort of cool superpower.

Rob

you make me real glad that I don't have to go and see this movie.

What iIdid see on dvd tonight was an old Frank Sinatra movie about a heroin addict. It was very good. The long golden arm, a classic but I don't remember seeing it before or if I did I was one of those little kids sitting on Dads lap and asking questions all the way through.
