Seeing well is certainly the main thing, but yes, we want to feel going wearing our glasses, too. You near or far sighted?

I know the feeling - I recently had to replace my late 1980 (bigger-framed) glasses - which my smart-alec niece referred to as "Unabomber glasses!" Anyway, I was assured (by the saleslady), that the ones I recently bought are "in" -they are very tiny framed, and I think they make me look like an "alien-in-hiding" - think, the movie, Men in Black! Anyway, they do help me see 20/20, so anyone who doesn't like them can just f*** off!

I had a really bad hair cut before....I never got used to it.
I think the fact that you can't really look at yourself helps though. Hahaha

Glasses are like a bad haircut, you get used to both...The mind helps out.

Yes, purposefully...like they didn't have what I wanted, so they tried to descretely switch to something similar.

Why would the store switch the frames? And do you mean purposely?
I'm actually supposed to get new contacts (or glasses) soon. However, I'm not so sure I really want to see my family and friends more clearly.
P.S. That's odd that your hairstyle would affect the frames, though.
When I was a child, there were times when we had to entertain ourselves.
And usually the best way to do that was to turn on the TV.
