a lot of people, including Ben Stein, tell us that the Dow is no real
indicator -- a bunch of rich people investing to get richer

and if you will notice, when wages and other benefits for the average working person are lower, the Dow is higher.

when housing sales are down, when gas prices are up, when inflation (hidden) is up, etc., how come the Dow looks so rosy?  can you tell us that?

possibly because corporations are making profits hand over foot at the expense of everyone else.
