How did it work out for you, Strat?

Thanks
I needed a dose of your humor... it's fun to try to picture you as a little kid too...a handful, I am sure!

Actually, he did; and I did.

At least he didn't tell you to go play in traffic, Strat.

It sounds positively bucolic.

Almost as fond as some of my memories.

I remember my parents sending me to the store and then moving. Sort of a cross country version of hide and go seek, or as my dad liked to put it, "Son, why don't you go outside and play a nice game of 'hide and go f*ck yourself."

posted by strat on April 22, 2007 at 5:43 PM | link to this | reply

very funny indeed

No, I actually was MIA, steeler fan.

I only just returned this past Friday.

Nice to see you around again....either you were gone awhile or I just
missed you...in any case...hello and hope all is well.

Can we go to the e-mails a second? Because I have something important to
ask you.

FYI: all emails have been replied to.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 11:07 PM | link to this | reply

Can you check your indox every now and then, so
I don't have to mother you about it? I sent you another one, btw, and you'd better reply (keep in mind, I'm really hardcore.)

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 11:01 PM | link to this | reply

Oh! So YOU are the one giving out TMI right now, huh?

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:57 PM | link to this | reply

Already did!

And keep in mind my mother will be reading this.

So watch yourself, lesbo!

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:55 PM | link to this | reply

You are so annoying!
Go read it, otherwise I'll... hm, I'll do something really hardcore... That's right!

Make me.

Re: Re: Re: sorry, I'm trying out this "reply" thing.
What "reply thing"?

Re: Re: sorry, I'm trying out this "reply" thing.
I don't get it; it's not convenient at all.

Re: What are you saying?

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:42 PM | link to this | reply

FYI: that photo doesn't do Mr. Munch justice.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:39 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you, TAPS.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:38 PM | link to this | reply

You might want to learn reading recognition sometime, Bandana.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:37 PM | link to this | reply

HAHAHA, Mademoiselle, always a fun read.

posted by TAPS. on April 21, 2007 at 10:36 PM | link to this | reply

Ohhh, okay. I thought you'd argue some borderline thing,
like, "Mr. Munch is dark blue, NOT purple." My bad.

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:35 PM | link to this | reply

AGH! That's a horror picture! Why did you do that?!
He IS purple.

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:33 PM | link to this | reply

Correction:

I meant he doesn't (look really weird).

Because he is purple.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:32 PM | link to this | reply

Whatever what, attitude girl?

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:31 PM | link to this | reply

Noooo, Bandana, he is not!

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:31 PM | link to this | reply

Not the most flattering photo of him ... but it's all I could find:

Whatever!

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:27 PM | link to this | reply

I thought about posting something, but that didn't happen. Maybe later.
I really enjoyed your post today, though.

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:24 PM | link to this | reply

I can't find any pictures of him for some reason.
You would think they would be plentiful!

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:20 PM | link to this | reply

You are taking so long.
Is he your imaginary friend?

"?"

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:19 PM | link to this | reply

Soooo, moving on ...

Weren't you going to be posting something today?

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:18 PM | link to this | reply

So it WAS!
You scare me sometimes.

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:14 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, shut up, T!
I'm trying to find a picture of Mr. Munch ... hold on.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:10 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, wait a second... some disturbing thought just came to me.
Okay, so, your 22nd birthday party today wasn't at Chuck E Cheese, right? Because, that'd be so wrong.

p.s. I had driven pass a Chuck E. Cheese before, if that counts for anything.

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:08 PM | link to this | reply

Actually, I tend to get the nursery rhymes mixed up a lot, too, Sunny ...
Some of them are really complicated.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:03 PM | link to this | reply

Seriously, T?!

You've never been to Chuck E. Cheese?!

I'm so sorry for you ...

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 10:02 PM | link to this | reply

All kinds.
A lot of them are like nursery rhyme type...some of them are popular music....past and presnt.

posted by Afzal_Sunny7 on April 21, 2007 at 10:01 PM | link to this | reply

Okay, enough bullying you and stuff, you know,
I have never been to Chuck E. Cheese. I don't even know how "Mr. Munch" looks like.

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 10:00 PM | link to this | reply

Now, tell me more about your mood swings.
That might be an indication to certain mental health issues.

p.s. does the prospect of hiding in bushes comfort you?

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 9:58 PM | link to this | reply

I meant I'm a gentle soul right now (at this particular moment in time), "Bandana" ...

But that could change any second.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:53 PM | link to this | reply

I guess it probably depends on what kinds of songs they were, Sunny.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:52 PM | link to this | reply

"I'm a gentle soul, actually."
Sorry for the graphic language, but I think I just 'regurgitated' a little bit in my mouth (but you needn't worry about me, I swallowed back.)

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 9:51 PM | link to this | reply

LOL
My mother can't even remember the correct words to songs.  Or perhaps she just never knew them?

posted by Afzal_Sunny7 on April 21, 2007 at 9:48 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, don't worry ... she'll surely be reading them.

P.S. I'm a gentle soul, actually.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:44 PM | link to this | reply

"Let's try that again, shall we?" --You sort of sounded really gentle there
for a second...

At any rate, I mean, yeah, you are definitely NOT a psycho. Just because you sometimes imagine people trying to assassinate you, plus other stuff, certainly doesn't make you a loony! What was your mother thinking? (Even though she's so perfect... hey silly, remind her to read these comments!)

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 9:42 PM | link to this | reply

Yeah, for real, Sunny!
I mean, what does she have, like, a photographic memory , or something?!

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:42 PM | link to this | reply

Hahaha
I can agree that mother's don't always remember events clearly as they happen

Okay, apparently so (seeing how I wrote that previous comment). Let's try that again, shall we?

I know, T!

I mean, what am I? A completely delusional psychotic mental patient-type person?!

Wait! Don't answer that!

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:32 PM | link to this | reply

Haha. This post is really hilarious!
Your mother is so perfect; she's humorous, has fantastic memory... wow. (She reads this, right?)

I have to go with your account, though, I mean, how could you be such a little psycho!?

posted by bandanafish on April 21, 2007 at 9:23 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you so much, littlemspickles.
Yeah, I think it's fairly self-explanatory.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:23 PM | link to this | reply

lol - i read the rebuttal first before i read the original post
but it all still made sense... happy birthday anyhow, hope this one only has wonderful memories

I thought it really happened, too, Bhaskar.ing ...
And, actually, I still do. I'm not gonna just take her word for it.

Mademoiselle, and all the while I was thinking it to be real.
Very well writen. And yes, your mum's talented, and so are you.

Of course, she has a degree in education, Moon, so what should one expect?

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:15 PM | link to this | reply

I find her "style" kinda stiff, actually.

posted by Mademoiselle on April 21, 2007 at 9:14 PM | link to this | reply
