No problem at all, take all the space you want!
I'm sure Blogit has the bandwidth to handle it, if it can handle my ramblings!
But I would challenge you on one thing: He is in no way serving his own country as a statesman. He is that in title only.

Writer of Light
Every person who is truly an American should feel this way. Of the whole post this sums up exactly how I feel. This man is without redemption. Thank you so much for writing all of it and proving it. But wihtout the proof, no American should go without calling this man on this incredible ignorant hate of his own country in which he servs as a statsman.
You said: I am truly struggling to find the most appropriate word for this. Contemptible, astoundingly foolish, treacherous, lying, willful ignorance, betrayal, self-aggrandizement and willfully playing into the hands of the enemy all come to mind. I am so angry at this
that I am having problems even formulating a coherent response.
This is the Senate Majority Leader. In time of war, he has given our country, our servicepeople, our enemies and the rest of the entire world a vote of no confidence in the ability of our armed forces to do their job. He has told the whole world that we are inferior and weak. He has broadcast to our enemies that they have succeeded, they have triumphed, they are free to do whatever they want to us because we are utterly incapable of defending ourselves.
