Well it all seems so merry, Chris!
I suspect, despite things going wrong, that after it was all over, you had a great smile on your face - a great story!

You sound like you had a fabulous day.
Even being towed sounds like it was a big adventure.

Thanks very much Troosha! Yes-I'm pleased they made it back safely!
However-the cost for a new gear box-isn't worth thinking about! You are so right-we don't have a clear mind these days-in order to make 'space' or time for FUN--BELLY LAUGHS etc.
Sad really-we all seem to be pre-occupied-(or perhaps I should say-that's how I feel I am?) The first day certainly was a mystical, peacefull cruise for myself and Fred-the day it broke down-my friend(the owner)had her PARENTS on board! That's fate for you!I tried to join two poems together-one for each day-not very successfully I'm afraid.Got to get my writer's hat back on! Bye for now Troosha-Chris.

Oh those “belly laughs”. We don’t do that enough do we? What started out as a somewhat mystical, peaceful cruise down the river turned into quite the day! I’m glad the Silver March and everyone on it made it home safely.
