I couldn't agree more.
Trying to communicate with you and get you to break away from your fantasy world is a next to impossible task and it is best to ignore those like you and just laugh at the foolishness they display. The problem is I want a better world for my boys and if those like you keep getting heard above those realists like myself, the future is going to be bleak.

That was NOT at all what your post was about when you first put it up and I made my first comment to it and you that. Please do not try to pretend you did not repost the e-mail that the link I put up talked about.
And I read the article and that was why I was talking about how it was NOT the democrats who were causing the problems here. Your post was very much trying to make it look like it was the Democrats who were keeping this from happening.
All I said is that you posted misinformation. Take that as you will since as far as you are concerned all I do is attack you. Denying facts that you dislike is self-imposed ignorance. You are only ignorant in such things if you allow yourself to be blinded by your views and refuse to accept that you made a mistake and move on.
I keep thinking you are an adult, but you seem to try not to act like one, refusing to admit that you made a mistake.

No, what you had posted as your last post here was nothing but an old e-mail that had been circulating for some time now. I remember getting it for the first time about five years ago and I didn't think it sounded right, so I went and looked into it further to find out he truth. If some form of media ever was foolish and ignorant enough to post it as news, then right there I can promise you that is a source of news you should NEVER listen to. Of course since what you posted was a obvious cut and paste job of the e-mail (Before you deleted it all that is) itself, I have to wonder.
And feel free to come to my posts and point out any mistakes I make. I have no problem with being told that I am in error, if there is actual proof that I am in error. I am not so closed minded and egotistical that I have to be right all the time. I left a comment for you, not because I disagreed with you, but because you were using information that had already been proven false. There have been many times I have disagreed with you as of late and just figured there was no pointing saying anything because that was your opinion and you were entitled to it.
There are facts and opinions and there is a big difference between the two of them. In this case I was pointing out facts, straight out facts, proven facts that went against the misinformation (NOT FACT in any form at all) that you had posted. If something is proven false, it CANNOT Be considered fact to anyone.
Would you rather show integrity by knowing what is fact and what is not or would you prefer to live in ignorance?
If you really dislike people trying to help you learn truth, then I will back away and allow you to wallow in ignorance all you want. I would be insulted to no end if people saw me make a fool of myself and allowed me to keep on doing such. I myself don't like to look foolish by posted anything as being fact when it is not.

Thank you for commenting on my post. What is your fact may not be mine. That George Bush is my president but not yours is not a fact. He is the president of this country and of all the citizenry. I don't have to like him, I need to honor the office. That is what I have a problem with not the Democrats or Republicans but the trashy fighting and underhanded things that even any good business owner would know better than to do. Your son came into my post with his fact structure that I had posted an e mail otherwise how would he have been able to snop it? But you see I had not. It was news! I don't come on either of your post and object to what you print as fact that are not facts to me which is almost all your religious posts. What I do respect is your right to publish them. What strange pleasure do you get from coming on my post and making ugly and accusatory comments. I often read your posts, I leave no comment if I don't agree with it. Can't you two do that?

whats odd is that your president (he's not mine)
and his republican cohorts (mirroring the arguments of the Chamber of Commerce) say that raising the minimum wage is bad -- and unnecessary.
this bill is the first in quite some time -- i don't recall a republican congress even considering such.

I responded by pointing out the facts that corrected the information you gave in your post. Basing any kind of statement, no matter how accurate that statement may have been, on false information does not work. You post was an attack toward the Democrats for not having done anything yet, as if it is their fault that for the last ten years the Republican controlled congress has done nothing.
The Democrats are actively trying to make some changes towards what you say is needed. It was the republicans who said they will not let the bill pass in any simple form, but want to add all kinds of B.S. to it. The Democrats say, just pass a simple bill to raise the minimum wage, then we can deal with tax cuts for Small businesses and such in a new bill.
You attacked the Democrats right off the back in that post, as if they were the ones who have been running things in congress for the last decade.
Also, no member of congress gets a 'multi million' dollar salary. Looking at the facts it is not congress who is the cause of the great wage gap, but the Big Businesses who got those great tax cuts form Bush and were able to give the money to the big wigs instead of the working stiff.
But you got your attack on my character into your post. I keep hoping we nice be grown up about hits, but I see that is never going to happen. Should I sink down to your level and report you because you mentioned my name in one of your posts in a less that positive manner? No, I'm a grown man and such petty actions will gain me nothing.
I really wish you would look at yourself and stop acting as if I am out to get you with any comment I might leave for you.
Now I did notice you edited out a lot of your last post, getting rid of all the misinformation that had been there. I do applaud you for doing such, although I wish you would admit that you had put it in there to begin with.

Thanks for stopping by. Yes, of course. They appear to want to raise our taxes more frequently the longer they stay. Lowering the taxes on the working poor would help the situation as well. It did the last time the President did it. Queen Pelosi is in a personal war with the President and it is not boding well for her the world over it appears. A few so far left communists are happy but then it takes only vitrol to make them a happy shake. Be blessed and visit often I sure miss you.

Justi, for sure it is evident that it's much easier for a member of
Congress to give him or herself a payraise (vote on the matter) than it is for the average low income minimum wage person to get even a minor increase. As well, it would seem (and perhaps I am in error) that the longer a member of Congress is in office (errrr, power) the less interested he or she often is in remembering the people who voted that member into office. Just a thought, and a generalization.
