Sometimes it takes us a couple of times before we get it right. And you obviously did with Joycie. You're lucky to have had such a loving soul in your life. Thanks for stopping by.

I believe that being born of spirit and not of flesh, is being one who follows one's soul (spirit) and not ego (flesh). Thanks for stopping by and reading.

This is such a lovely simple way to put something
I believe with all my heart.Religion and denominations do not count in the face of this simple truth.

sannhet, ego even got Lucifer (Satan) kicked out of heaven when he
pridefully placed himself equal with Jesus..and his main weapon against mankind has been ego..yep, when we make our choices based on ego, we will always fail/fall (ego and pride are indeed twins, or kissing cousins)

Sannhet, Jesus Himself said, “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." That pretty much sums it up. And you, Sannhet, pretty much summed it up as well. MoonSpirit

sannhet, Jesus told Nicodemus "You must be born again," and I believe

that's the key...He told Peter, "When you're 'converted,' strengthen your brethren."  Jesus didn't mention ego, per se, but He did say we have to be born of the spirit and not walk by the flesh...

Thought-provoking post!
