Go to Religion in the Modern World

- Go to I want to share my faith with you
The next time a prosletizer comes to my door, assuming I have the time,
I will tell them, "Sure, you can come in and we will talk about faiths and religions and beliefs. But we will talk about mine first."

I presume you understand, Sannhet...
That all the fanatical Islamists wish to do is bring you to the alter of Islam (for your own salvation, of course), or – in the alternative – kill you. Just an act of humanity, you might say.

Gome -
I've always felt the same way. I'm of the opinion that if someone is interested in my faith, they will ask. Otherwise, it's off limits. But I guess for some, that "sharing" is seen as necessary. Just as one would share food with the hungry - regardless of whether they ask for it or not because it's an act of humanity - so too some religious folks see the need to share their beliefs because it is an act of humanity.

Gomedome's post
"But it doesn't work that way, does it?" No, unfortunately, it doesn't, not very often; but, you're right; it should work that way.
Good post, Gome.
