Anatomically correct, Gome...
But was he...you know (Imagine the outrage then!)...and why didn't the artist use dark chocolate?

Tonyzonit - that's a good point, even if you meant it tongue in cheek
The ploy of performers and artists using controversy or notoriety to attract public attention means that the next person attempting to gain the spotlight in this fashion will have to do the last guy one better. Subsequently, we have had our sense of outrage collectively dulled as the controversial showmanship of perfomers and artists bludgeons our sensibilities in ever increasing increments. It is like turning up the volume on the home stereo one micro level at a time over an extended period. The increase in decibels does not hurt our ears as much as a sudden increase in volume but when we reach and become accustomed to living in an environment of maximum volume, we are deaf all the same.

SuccessWarrior - that was the part that I found the most humorous
This group of religious fanatics, typical of so many others, are not only attempting to censur this artist, they are attempting as they clearly state; to punish those who would show this art piece. They are conveniently blurring the line between perpetrator and victim, while not only making themselves the judge and jury of accepted social behaviour but also feel it is their right to inflict punitive measures upon those with whom they disagree.  These are the dangerous people, the ones who would completely trample on the rights of others because they can manufacture flimsy justification for doing so in their twisted little minds.

RckyMtnActivist - I expect that there won't be any royalties as the entire

thing will fade away in a short time.

It's the lack of real shock value that will bring about this demise. The image is made of chocolate . . . big deal. The image is anatomically correct . . .again big deal. The story loses its overall intrigue very quickly.

It's about time some of these artists were taken down a peg or two
with their attention-seeking nonsense, isn't it?

And once again,
They say that what they are doing is a constitutional right to free speech as they attempt to shut down someone else's constitutional right to free speech.  What ever point they are trying to make, I can't hear it over the loudness of the hypocrisy.
