I too am owned by cats. One ancient calico and two outside orange tigers, fourth generation offspring of an outside stray who adopted us long ago. Outsiders don't live as long as home cats do but they enjoy their freedom and the call of the wild, the taste of a warm mouse and the delight in playing with and listening to the delightful squeeks they make before they break and another one must be found. Tradeoffs are always present in all lives and each kind of cat enjoys their own situation, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing your experience with these marvelous creatures. Guy AKA northsage 45
