Your attitude to work is very healthy, it is a shame you have so many difficult characters to deal with. I bet the Roald Dahl evening was just the right tonic. All the best.

Offy hit the nail on the head..office politics, either intended or implied
are sheer "hell"...they ruin everything/everyone they touch..even working as I do for a "Christian" organization, politics are involved..
I try to stay at least "arms length" away....
