strat - I know the feeling all too well, an argument for demonic possession

could be made for a number of people.

Some of the bloggers I have met come to mind . . . present company excepted of course.

Nautikos - I have to agree that demonic possession has provided some

excellent fodder for movies.

But I can't help but feel that the movies for some people, add credence to demonic folklore. I've had people right here on Blogit utilize things they had seen in movies as arguments to back their contentions that demonic possession is very real. My favourite: "The Exorcist was based on a true story" . . . yeah, that was real pea soup they used in the power barf scene.

I don't know. I've dated a number of women
for whom a good argument could have been made for demonic posession...

I'm sure I don't need to tell you what I think of 'demonic possession', lol. But you gotta admit, it makes for fun movies...

David1Spirit - I had a blogger once explain to me that it was a certainty

that people such as you, Kooka and I were not possessed by the devil.

The reasoning (and he was quite serious) followed the logic that the prince of darkness having much work to do, made himself more efficient by going after the good religious people. Satan already has people like us in his hip pocket, we are doing his bidding after all, so there is no need for him to waste any effort on us. His time is much better spent hanging around churches and tent revival meetings. As for being burned at the stake, it has only stopped in a literal sense.

Gomedome. Of course demonic possession exists! Right here on Blogit in fact

You see, the devil has possesed bloggers like yourself, kooka and me. Didn't you know that...LOL.

Lucky for us this isn't the "good old days". Because in those days we would have been led to the stake, set afire and sooner or later we would be freed from the devil; whether we lived or died.
